In the same year, he joined East Yangon University, majoring in English. He studied there for three years before leaving in September 2024 due to the worsening political situation in Myanmar.

Since then, he has written and published numerous poems, articles, and short stories in both Burmese and English, appearing on various news websites and poetry platforms. While he uses his official name, Abul Kasim, in most works, he also writes under other surnames and pen names.
